Umarelli is a guide to public building records in New York City and Jersey City. By using the site, its data or its connector (https://umarelli.org/connect), you agree to these terms.

## The records

- Everything on Umarelli comes from public government records, read and combined by software. Records can be late, incomplete or wrong at the source, and our reading of them can be wrong too. The rules we follow are set out in our Methodology.
- Umarelli isn’t affiliated with the City of New York, the City of Jersey City, the State of New Jersey or any of their agencies.

## Not advice

- Nothing here is legal, financial, tax, real estate or engineering advice. Check the official record with the agency before you rely on it for a purchase, a loan, a filing, a lawsuit or construction.

## Using the data

- You can read, link to, quote and share what you find, including in your own work, with a link back to Umarelli. Don’t present Umarelli’s pages as official records.
- Automated use is welcome through the connector at a reasonable pace. Don’t overload the site, get around its limits, or use it to harass or profile people.

## No warranty

- The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, Umarelli isn’t liable for losses from using it or relying on it.
